I met the Kennedey brother back in college, and have stayed close with them ever since. They grew up on a 10o year old pear farm, started by their great-grandpappy John. A few years ago they purchased The Gorge White House in Hood River, Oregon which is a property containing 100 acres of pears, cherries, blueberries, strawberries, apples, and and array of flowers for picking, not to mention the most enticing aspect, the actual house itself which is listed on the national registry of historic buildings. Needless to say, this old time classic needed a modern refresh, but to retain it’s history.
